International Linkages

Through the consortium of the University of the Philippines with the country’s top two private universities, Ateneo de Manila University and De La Salle University, the College has been maintaining linkages in Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics with scientific institutions in Japan, Australia, West Germany, U.S.A., and U.K. under the sponsorship of the following agencies:

As a result of these linkages, many faculty members of the College have been able to undertake study visits, doctoral studies, and postdoctoral research in Japan, Australia, U.K., West Germany, and the U.S.A. during the past several years. And about as many foreign scientists from these countries as well as from Israel, Canada, Australia, People’s Republic of China, and Russia have come to the College during the same period as visiting professors, lecturers, or consultants. The College was also able to acquire various equipment and library grants from these linkages.
